Nutshell is a theatre company based in Edinburgh and specialising in touring productions of new writing. The Artistic director is Kate Nelson who has worked widely in theatre in England, Scotland and elsewhere. Kate has staged productions at the Traverse in Edinburgh, the Citizen's in Glasgow and Pitlochry Festival Theatre amongst other venues.
The company has staged three major productions so far: Play O' The Wather (Edinburgh Fringe 2002), Meat (Edinburgh Fringe 2004) and Crestfall (Citizen's, Glasgow and Traverse, Edinburgh, Autumn 2005).
We are currently preparing to stage Stars at the Traverse for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year (2006).
